Christine Waylett

Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor

Christine Waylett graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters Degree of Education and Administration in Dental Hygiene. She then moved to Washington D.C., where she met her husband.  After seven years in D.C., her husband’s job brought them to Richmond. She had always been very active at the gym, dancing, cycling, and practicing Yoga, but was still having many back, neck, and posture issues due to her physically demanding career as a dental hygienist. After much research, she turned to Pilates and discovered that it was key in training, strengthening and stretching the proper muscles to achieve her goals of improving posture, relieving muscle pain and gaining strength, not only for her career but for everyday life. She was immediately hooked. After seven years practicing Pilates she decided to take it one step further by getting trained and certified as a STOTT PILATES® instructor at Balance Pilates Training Center so she could help others obtain their fitness goals while continuing on her own road of improved overall health.
